This is my entry as to why I should win their MacBook Pro giveaway:
I've never had a MacBook Pro before, nor owned any Mac products or PC laptops before. But since I love watching unboxings and reviews about it, it made me wonder how it would feel to actually have one those, which in this case, I am very impressed by what's inside the MacBook Pro aside from the very sleek and simple physical body of the laptop. To be specific, aside from the Retina display going on in the 13" screen, which seems to be the perfect portable-sized laptop, I love the fact that it has a 2.9GHz dual-core Intel Core i7 with a Turbo Boost than can overclock it up to 3.6GHz, along with the big hard drive space and HD graphics, and standard 8 hours battery life. If I do win this giveaway, I would gets a full hands-on with this since I love using computers, and if I get the chance, I'd use it everyday for 24/7 since that's how much I love computers. I would also do a quick unboxing and first impressions review article on this in my blog, as well as probably a full review, especially giving credits to your site and the stuff for giving this giveaway and making it possible for me to finally own my first ever laptop.

Good luck to everyone!

First Impressions: iPhone 5S & iPhone 5C

As everybody knows by now, Apple is due to release their announced iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C very soon. And so far, all the Apple fans are very excited to get their hands on one of the two new phones, or who knows, maybe they would get their hands on both.

I don't get what the big fuss is about about their release. It's hyper than any other phone being released. I read and have seen articles where people are already lining up outside Apple stores weeks ahead so as to be the first people to get the products, yes, they're that excited to do all that.

But what is the big deal about the new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C? Is it just because they are Apple, that people would immediately buy it? What if you have an iPhone 4S or an iPhone 5, is it worth the upgrade? Some of the features that I have seen from watching launches and first hands-on from various tech reviewers are that they added a new row, making it 6 rows now, stretching the phone another inch vertically; a revamped home button, two new colors to the iPhone 5S rather than the typical black and white that we always used to see throughout the Apple products line, and the new move where they went plastic casing and with a few colors for the iPhone 5C. And people are wowing over it. I honestly don't see much of a difference aside from how they focus on the hardware and well, iOS7, that everybody knows of already, that everyone already has, even before iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C were announced and is for release very soon.

Some people may get hype about it, but I guess I'm not one of those people. Sure, I like their flat UI of the iOS 7 and the sleek premium look to it, despite the 5C being plastic. But I guess I have yet to see what is the biggest upgrade to this aside from me still seeing how they were going for the physical aspect more to market their products.

Rumor Has It: How the iPhone 5S woud look like.

I came across this leaked picture of the iPhone 5S that is supposedly to be released after 2 weeks. It looks like the phone has been vertically stretched, adding another row of icons, they revamped the home button, and it's supposedly coming with the latest iOS 7. If this rumor is set to be true, then all I have to say is, Apple, you're boring us. If you already have an iPhone 5, then that would be a waste to upgrade to this one. All you'll have is stretched out phone, and that's about it.

Nokia 5310 XpressMusic Sports Armband Case

I had my jog this morning. And did you know that listening to music is a good way to keep you motivated to jog for longer minutes? Not only jogging, but in all workouts, especially when you're working out solo.

I use my Nokia 5310 XpressMusic to listen to music, pretty much all the time. Having mentioned that, guess what? My phone jumped out of my pocket while I was jogging this morning! Now my phone has a tiny, tiny dent & scratch on the top right part of its housing. As of the moment, I don't have a separate music player from my personal phone, but that would be so much better. But for now, I'm satisfied, except for when I'm working out. I should have put on a silicone case I had but I didn't. I realized that I seriously needed something to keep my phone in place while I'm working out.

There's two solutions for that:
1. Workout with no music; or
2. Get an armband.

Now, armband is a piece of accessory that is worn around the arm (that's how they got the name). Nokia 5310 XpressMusic is not a sports phone, but to be named one of many music phones, they should have thought of selling products like that. This simple accessory can very useful for people who are music lovers and are on the go all the time, particularly if you are leading a healthy & fit lifestyle (e.g. jogging, working out at the gym).

Now choosing option number 2 above, I tried searching in stores here in Philippines but was unfortunate to find any on stock. So, I tried to search on Google to see if there were any available armbands for my phone and only found one of its kind, the Sports Armband Case from MobileFun.co.uk for £7.97. If converted to Philippine Pesos, that would be around PHP500. Sadly, they don't ship here to Philippines, plus they discontinued to sell the product.

The appearance itself has a comfy, sporty, stylish look to it, giving the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic a snuggly fit when you insert it in the phone holder. The armband also has an adjustable strap attached.

Yes, having a silicone case has a rubber feel to it. But it is not the same when you're listening to music and jogging or working out, with the feeling of your phone in your pocket compared to it being snuggly and fit on your arm. Not to mention that you have better access than with it in your pocket.

If you are thinking of hitting the gym or just working out at home, then an armband is definitely a must!
